MATERIALS: |
· Konjac Jelly Juice (if not available in your country, you can use any alkaline solution) · Small amount of water · Plastic Egg Container · Liquids to test (e.g. lemon juice, soda, vinegar) |
PROCEDURE: |
1. Pour a small amount of each sample liquid in egg container. Take note of the color of the liquid.
2. Pour a very small amount of water in the liquid.
3. Finally, pour konjac jelly juice in each liquid. Observe if there are changes in color. |
Taking it further |
1. Try cooking the red cabbage with different ingredients, see if they will change color just like yakisoba noodle did. 2. Find a good substitute for konjac juice in your community. Try extracting juice from another green leaves. |
