MATERIALS: |
· Quarter of Red cabbage · 1 tbsp Salt · Medium size plastic bag · Plastic Egg Container · Liquids to test (e.g. lemon juice, soda, vinegar) |
PROCEDURE: |
1. Tear off leaves of the red cabbage into pieces. 2. Put the torn leaves in the plastic bag and add the salt. Tie the plastic bag. 3. Rub the plastic bag for about five minutes. 4. Take the juice of the cabbage and put in a container. |

Taking it further |
1. Try to extract liquid from other plants or flower (for example rose petal) to test acidity of the liquid. Observe if they will have the same result. 2. Try to test acidity or alkalinity of solutions like salt-water solution or sugar solution. |
